Welcome to our website.  First Christian Martial Arts International (FCMA) is a Christian school of Karate-do that teaches the traditional art of  Goju-Ryu.  Founded in Okinawa, Goju-Ryu is a traditional martial art form that teaches self defense, self control and awareness through fluid body movements and balance.   FCMA was founded in 1983 by Pastor/Sensei Bob Alvarez.

The purpose of our ministry is to glorify the Lord and to spread the Word of God throughout the land.  Through this ministry, FCMA continues to develop and promote leadership that is continually growing and developing in Christian Martial Arts expertise, knowledge of the Word of God, and spiritual living through Jesus Christ our Lord.   We not only prepare our brothers and sisters for physical battle, we prepare the mind and spirit for spiritual warfare.

Membership

Membership at First Christian Martial Arts is open to everyone.   Adult and youth classes are available.   You do not have to be a Christian to become a student at FCMA, however, you do need to know that Christian training is a vital part of our curriculum, and the Holy Bible is a part of your uniform.  Tuition can be paid on a per workout basis or on a monthly basis.  Uniforms and sparring gear can be purchased through our offices.  Come and visit our Dojo or call us at 626-254-9600 if you have any questions.
